A Christmas story

It was an ordinary Monday in the middle of September and the clock had just passed two in the afternoon when the robbery took place.

A lorry stopped outside the bank office with screaming breaks and three guys with machine guns in their hands ran into the half empty bank office more or less immediately. Dressed as Santas they then did what they were supposed to do. Thanks to the fact that they where dressed as Santas nobody of the people in bank actually got scared for them. It was more kind of fun to see 3 Santas with big bellies and long white beards running around in the office taking as much as possible in the sacks they where carrying. Only one little girl, Zelda, began to cry when she her favorite male, Mr Santa, was passing by her very fast without even looking at her even if she had said "Hello Santa".

Two minutes later the robbers left the bank with filled sacks on their backs. They jumped into the car they had arrived with and took off 5 seconds later.

As fast as the traffic permitted the Santa who was designated to drive the car with the two other bank robbers brought the car across the city out to the nearby forest. When they had passed the city borderline and reached as far out in the woods they could get with a motorized vehicle they deserted the car with their Santa clothes in it.

Now dressed as military soldiers (carrying shotguns and big back sacks filled with the money they had got from the robbery) they jogged towards the place they had a helicopter waiting for them.

Since you understand from my lines here above the police had no chance against these bad guys. It did not take so long to discover the abandoned car with the Santa dresses inside and a K9 (lead by the dogs Fridolf and Frida) unit discovered, after some searching, the place where the helicopter had been waiting for them but that was more or less all to it.

Days, became to weeks and weeks became to months and suddenly it was time to celebrate Christmas.

As always the Santa had a lot of work to do during the Christmas night. Climbing through chimneys here, through windows there and silently walking through doors here... Yes, all kids in the world he was going to visit this specific night.

When he arrived to the house there the little girl Zelda and her parents were living he climbed down their chimney as usually, silently he then took the steps needed for reaching the family members Christmas socks. First he filled one little red sock, then a purple with the surprises he had brought with him he suddenly hear a little female voice whispering with a half crying tune:

"Santa, why did you not say Hello to me when we met in the bank?"

More stressful than a deer chased by several of hunters the Santa first just wanted to escape from the scene but as he was the Santa he could just not abandon a little child crying on the Christmas night itself.

At 3.00 am the following morning and three phone calls  on the Santa hot phone later a furious Santa Claus is sitting in his magical sledge high up in the night clear sky watching down on a desert little cottage on an island far away from the closest civilization. With only the light from the Pole Star as a company the Santa Claus is looking down angrier and angrier for each second that is passing by. To imagine that three stupid males had, dressed as him, committing a crime and, worst of all, not taking time to say hello to one his little ones was simply outrageous.  The question was now how he best should give the persons in this cottage a lesson in good manner..

Half an hour later his personal assistant the elf Leif is approaching with his flying sledge. - The candy sledge that always stood ready in spare in case Santa needed back up as now.

Unnecessary whispering (as they were so far above the cottage) the Santa asked Leif if he was sure they hade the  right cottage below. Leif nodded his head at the same time he told that the both the Christmas bunnies as well as the scary scarexrow Lasse had confirmed that very bad men with guns had been living in this certain cottage for a few months now.  The Santa nodded his head and Leif took a kettle that was standing boiling on the stove in the sledge. Muttering some words (the kettle was so hot so the little elf Leif almost had burned himself on it) he takes the kettle so it become hanging outside the sledge. He then turns it upside down so the contents in it felt down into the chimney of the said little cottage.

The following morning the inhabitants of  a certain city could hear on their radio news that the so called Santa robbers had been discovered in a little cottage far away from the nearest civilization stacked in a kind of chewing gum cream. Someone had been polished the floors with this chewing gum cream during the night when the robbers were sleeping and as we all know it is almost impossible to get rid of it the few times we by accident might get it under our shoes.

The Santa was of course a bit sad for not being able to deliver all Christmas gifts to all the children by himself that specific night but when he was looking out on all his helpers that had taken over his task without further due and assisted him so well so the Police could arrest the said Santa robbers he felt a true happiness too and asked his helper Leif the elf to help him arrange a party for all the animals living in the Christmas forest.
